Silence then a Scream

I feel so alone
I feel so out of place
And every time I run
I remember your embrace
Being close to you is magic
It cures the loneliness inside
But every time I'm away from you
I want to run and hide
This life scares the hell out of me
And I can't bear it on my own
I need someone by my side
So I feel like I have a home
But every time I "fall in love"
I'm left freezing in the cold
And I lose hope in all I was
What left have I to hold
So maybe it's time to give up
Maybe its time to not dream
But float through this life
With silence then a scream

This poem reminds me of that song "The Broken Road" every mistake leads you closer to your truth, your other half of the whole, and it might not be a person, but a cause, a purpose, or your own strength. Really felt this one.
