Hidden Away

Beaconing light coming my way

Gliding across the land surrounding me

Calling me, waiting to say

The person your soul doth wish it could be

Is the true you, just hidden away

You seek to have freedom, yet you’re not free

You’re a captive to yesterday

So break the chains, shatter the walls,

 

And then you’ll truly see

The person inside is waiting at night

For you to wake up from your dream
