When Love Is Upon Us

                                                

   

The night is dark and cold

Each soul has closed it's eyes

No bliss shall now unfold

Until night has casts goodbyes

 

When the morning rays of sunshine

Burst forth in a warm embrace

We shall see again the magic

Of a kiss so full of grace

 

When touched by our lover

We shall feel peacefully free

Like we can soar high in the sky

Or simply rest upon a tree

 

We know that when love is upon us

When it adopts our hearts and souls

We can move forward knowing it does

Swiftly fill our shallow and empty holes
