Dear Agony

Why do you haunt me so

Why do you fill my eyes with tears

Why won’t you let me go

 

You hold me as a captive

In a prison filled with hate

I cannot bear any longer

This pain you choose to create

 

Set me free

I am not yours to claim

I am my Creator's

He gave me my name

 

Set me free

I am not a product

You can break

I have my own identity

I refuse to make another mistake

 

Set me fre

You can’t satisfy

You have tried to make me think

But it turns out joy is hard to fid

 

Set me free

No longer, Agony

I refuse to obey

Instead I will pray

So stop haunting me

Oh bitter, wretched Agony
