Stop Playing With Fire

Do you know how I feel

The pain you’ve been causing

These things don’t seem real

But I know we aint pausing

 

To look at the past, to see our mistake

We’ve come to that point

Where we’re just goona break

There’s no in between with love

 

I’m coming to discover

Love is like a light with a tarp

Sometimes it’s hard to uncover

But you know there is a way

 

There is always a little space

Where you can pull the tarp away

And beauty you then embrace

You don’t have the secrets

 

You can swear on your name

Because you speak the truth

You don’t play the lying game

And that’s what I respect

 

Yeah, that’s what I desire

Is for two people to come together

And stop playing with the fire
