Hold Me Now

I’ve been traveling on an unknown path

The fog has engulfed my journey

In the twilight, in this storm I will run to you

Hold me when I find you and never let me go

I’m tired of running from you, I’ve been so low

 

Cast forth some strands of light

Make this darkness bright

Turn this night into day

Hold me, Lord, I pray

 

I see the light you’re sending

And these tears that are on my face

Stream down like hopeless drops

But they fall into your grace

 

I know I’m not alone

I thought I was, although

But now I see you’re here

Guiding me, taking my fear

 

So hold me now, for I surrender

Show me now, where to lay my heart down

Heal me now, shattered pieces in Your hand

I was beaten down, but I see Your footprints in the sand

Amazing grace, this I claim, walking hand-in-hand

When you go to post your poem, at the top of the writing box there is an assortment of format settings. There is a little box with lines, that is for format position. There is another box with a bunch of colors on it, that is for format design.
