Knight Valor

Once in a land so very far away

Dwelt a girl with dreams to marry someday

She had many a young man to ask for her hand

There was Knight Cheater, Knight Faker, and Knight Liar

 

But they were just wooers in pursuit of her innocent heart

They planned to tear her to pieces and then forever depart

But Miss Purity didn’t want such a man to be her husband

She wanted someone strong, someone kind, someone loving,

 

But then there came a man, Knight Persuasive was his name

He flattered her and cherished her for an entire day

And her heart began to flutter like she found the man of her dreams

Until his true colors were on display for all to see

 

And coming to her rescue was the courageous Knight Valor

He took her lovely hand and led her to the tower

Where he expressed his undying love for her

And handed her a flower

 

Inside the middle was a radiant ring

He placed it on her finger and asked

 “Will you marry me?”

In astonishment and joy

Miss Purity said, “Yes!”

 

And as you can imagine

Their love was nothing less

Than the most glorious love

I truly can confess
