Worry

When the mountain are shaking

When you’re in a valley of thorns

When the oceans are raging

And your heart is shattered and torn

 

You can look to the skies

And have pure light to lead the way

And when darkness touches the earth

You can follow the stars God calls by name

 

He knows your every weakness

Yet He loves you just the same

He sees the hurt you mask inside

So He covers you with healing grace

 

He calls you to draw near

And trust him, after all

His hand holds the earth

His heart is the light of love

 

He’s sovereign and omnipotent

Omnipresent and omniscient

He created the emotions you’re feeling

And he can take your pain away

 

But first you must surrender

All the plans that you have made

And stand upon the foundation He’s laid

Trust Him with your life and your worrying will fade
