Sanity

Sanity

A Poem by That1Nerd23

We spend our life looking around

We wear our lack of confidence

We wear our unhappy frown

Because we know we’ll never meet up

We know it’s a hopeless game

To try to fit in and try to be accepted

By the people who have been rejected

Because once rejected, they must continue the cycle

Like it’s a cure to the emptiness that we’ve been feeling

But we gotta realize something

Life isn’t about our title

It’s about our hearts

We’ve gotta dodge their darts

Our sanity is vital

Another beautiful poem Jessa. I know we'll meet someday, but until then we'll keep dodging those darts lol. =)

Sometimes you have to just pause and catch your breath...
