My Heart

My Heart

A Poem by That1Nerd23

I’m guarding my heart

Yet it feels like its breaking

It seems it’ll be led astray

Is this real or simply faking

I want you close but I push you away

I’m observing the foundation we set

And looking at the plans we’re making

But I fear that you won’t stay

Like my heart you’re taking

To some where far away
