I'm Free

 

When life gets hard and I cannot see

I know You’re there, right next to me

You may not be seen by my finite eyes

But one day I’ll be with you in the skies

 

And with Your angels I’ll praise Your name

You’re glory all together we’ll proclaim

Because You offered Your Son to die

You watched Him get beaten- You watched him cry

 

And I can’t understand how You could do that for me

I’m a sinner, in rebellion, a rebel who will flee

I walked in darkness when You offered Your light

When you reached out Your hand I’d merely fight

 

But now I’m saved, I can see my sin

I’m free from the person I once had been
