To lay here forever

Inspired by someone I love very much, someone who I couldn't live without and someone who I want to spend the rest of my life with<3

I love everything about you,

Everything I see,

And everything I don't.

Everything I feel,

And everything I don't.

 

When you hold my hand,

Electricity waves flood my body,

I'm nothing but a ship wreck,

Ridden with emotion,

Unworthy to have your love.

 

When you're far away,

I envy the ground you walk on,

The bed you sleep on,

For they get to touch you,

And I don't.

 

When you're beautiful eyes,

Melt into mine,

Those butterflies squirm inside me,

Then your hands slides to the back of my neck,

Darling, I await.

 

When you lean foward and kiss me,

Nothing can compare,

To the taste of your lips,

To the scent of your hair,

And I love you more than ever.

 

Then you pull back your head,

And a smile curves onto your mouth,

Then you take me in your arms,

Craddling me like a child,

And I wish I could lay here forever.

Hmmmm! Yet another manifestion of the irony of writers and writing...a writer thinks its not good because it didn't rhyme, a writer judges his or her work and grades it rubbish (its very relative we all have)...but the truth is this is a piece well penned, the stanzas well connect and personally I love the flow. The relativity of the theme has the proclivity of infusing its reader into its lines..."Cuz at one time I thought "hey that's me"". Lovely piece, double thumbs up.
