Confused and forgotten

Confused and forgotten

A Poem by Jess Holden
"

a real poem for once :3 starts off angry ends sad

"

I thought you where different,

Who would've known?

That the truth you held behind your eyes,

Was nothing more than a clone.

You held inside yourself a demon which you hid,

You thought I'd never figure it out,

Well guess what?

I did.

After everything we've been through,

Holding my hand steadily the whole way,

You knew I wouldn't or couldn't make it,

You knew I'd make everyone pay.

It was hard enough to live with the pain,

The taunting memories of the past,

But it was harder than hard,

To just lay a cast.

I can't just put a bandaid on a broken heart,

It's bleeding too much,

It's too late for that,

I guess I screwed up a whole bunch...

I can't take this blame because it makes no sence,

Why you held inside what you did,

Making yourself a mess.

I wanted you to be happy,

Not suffering with me,

None of this was suppose to happen,

I'm sorry.
