Passing time.

Passing time.

A Poem by Jess Holden
"

oldd :)

"

Tis true life isn’t fair,

The daylight eventually fades,

The darkness will take over,

But gone it with the return of the sun.

Moments fly by,

Days, months, years,

Nothing else is comprised of love,

It’s all coincidental.

Nothing makes sense,

Everything’s set a blur,

Fire turns to water,

And water turns to stone.

As the end nears,

Who could blame you?

For clinging to what you love most,

Instead of who.

this is such a great piece of writing, sad, but great

I find this truly sad...especially the end where you say that you cling "to what you love most, Instead of who." It is true that some people value things and inaminate objects over people and those that care. But anyway this was something that made me think. Great job
