Heaven Or Hell?A Story by Jess HoldenWanted this to be a bit longer than it is but... couldnt think of more...
I remember everything clearly, well, except the dying part. THAT threw me off a little.
I remember the sun, and how it warmed my skin so gently; How the breeze kept me from getting overheated. I remember his eyes, gleaming bright emerald with the sunlight, starring deeply into mine. Geez, I sound like a romance fanatic. Well, that's not what happened. It all started with a cruise ship. Unfortunately, it exploaded... With me on it. Apparently something got caught in the motor of the ship, causing a bunch of damage, thus the explosion. I remember what I was doing in my last moments too; sitting in the tiny room that was rented out to me, crying. I'm glad now that they weren't tears of sadness, because spending my last moments in sorrow would've sucked. No, I was celebrating my new engagement to my boyfriend of 2 years. He had finally worked up the nerve to ask, and I reluctantly agreed. Their was nothing more that I wanted was to be married just out of high school to the love of my life. Isn't that the dream of most teens in love? Thinking back to it all, I regret saying yes. Not because the last thing I did was promise my life to a boy I met in high school, but because I told him I wanted to be with him forever. I broke my first promise to him since we had started dating.. Now I'm stuck for all eternity alone, only being able to watch my love through the clouds, not even able to send him a message. I thought this was suppose to be heaven, but it's just hell. © 2011 Jess HoldenAuthor's Note
