Last night.A Story by Jess HoldenI needed to write this. You said I was lucky, That Mom and Dad were in the next room, You said I was lucky, But you sent me to my doom.
You had no idea how much everything hurt, How your classic happiness faded, And you turned into something I've never seen, With drinks it aided.
You hit me, bruising my skin, Leaving marks that go deep, Leaving my eyes wet with tears, I cannot escape for I have fallen asleep.
You stagger around, Your touch like poison to me, I can't help but bite my lip so I won't cry out, I need somewhere else to be.
