Child.

Child.

A Poem by Jess Holden
"

Might add more, I'm unsure yet.

"

I'm a nervous wreak,

Stop acting like I'm not.

How long is it going to take for you to actually stand up and help?

Be the parent you are suppose to be,

So maybe I can be the child you've always wanted.

Parents ALWAYS have strong expectations of what they want their child to be. They shouldn't, but they do. At that point, it's left to us as their children to severely disappoint them at every turn, because happiness based on ideals is happiness never found.
