Forgiven Sins

Forgiven Sins

A Poem by Jesi

Forgiven Sins

I ask God for forgiveness

For all my sins

Everyone I love has left

And now I only have God to turn to

I confessed all that I've done

Awaiting for help

Even just a reply

I keep my mind open and my mouth closed shut

To see what will come

Before the day is done

It feels as if I have been walking for miles

In these old shoes of mine

As I walk through the park

But when I stop to listen

I hear a soft whisper in the breeze

"All is forgiven."

We are never alone when we have God in our hearts. I can feel the hope in your writing, and the redemption. Nicely done.
