Waking the Old Ones

Waking the Old Ones

A Poem by Gigglez
"

This is slightly Lovecraft in style. Paying homage to Cthulu.

"

Insane in the

brain, so deep

and dark that

seeps fear

from our minds.

It seems to be

in our minds,

but who knows

from hence

it really comes?

Chaos and shadow,

from all corners

of the Globe;

some bidden

to come forth

while others

simply lay

in wait…

for the Old

Ones to

come at last

to this, the

last of the

mortal realms.

Come from our

lips, the

song of the

Dead Father!

Sing of his

praise,

from that which

goes

farther.

They

say he

lies asleep

in the deep

of the Sea, but

we all knows

that he sleeps

in the deepness

of Thee.
