The Last Thoughts of Judas

The Last Thoughts of Judas

A Poem by Gigglez
"

Another from an old account.

"
    I can't believe it,
    I did it.
I betrayed
    one of my best friends,
more loved than
even my own mother.

    And with what?
A physical sign
meant to be one of love,
a sign of compassion:

    A kiss.

    I tighten the noose,
    I toss aside the silver,
and as I plummet to the
    ground from the tree
    limb above me,
my blood splattering
the tree trunk, all I
    ponder is this:

    'What awaits me,
    in the Betrayer circle
    of the Inferno?'

Author's Note

Gigglez
I always felt kind of bad for Judas, so I did this in his memory. May God have mercy on him when it is time for his final judgement.
