The Last Thoughts of JudasA Poem by GigglezAnother from an old account.
I can't believe it,
I did it. I betrayed one of my best friends, more loved than even my own mother. And with what? A physical sign meant to be one of love, a sign of compassion: A kiss. I tighten the noose, I toss aside the silver, and as I plummet to the ground from the tree limb above me, my blood splattering the tree trunk, all I ponder is this: 'What awaits me, in the Betrayer circle of the Inferno?' © 2012 GigglezAuthor's Note
