Always Playing GamesA Poem by J.A.NTwist and turn, Heartbreakers aren't always men.
Always playing games Cradle hearts in your arms Seductive lullaby’s, dangling hopes On strings tied to fingertips Kiss passionately, as lies and lust Rain down your back Cheating promises You always play with cards hidden up your sleeve Such a sleaze, such a waste, such a beautiful face Caught in a haze as innocent eyes shine Stinging with rage Pray, as they say Your prey awakens, as the truth spill’s Hollow is your heart Ripped jeans, tight shirt You lied once more Lipstick on napkins, sweet number He caught you in the act Didn’t know he was playing a role In your musical of pleasure and pain He stares at his cards, and you lay yours down Ace, he closes the box Keeps hidden a diamond ring
