Day is the Night

this is actually the 1st poem i wrote in 1 of my school notebooks without the teacher seeing it

When the light
is all you can see.
Its the night
that lies inside of me,
but im one person
with a personality.
I can be someone
so great to be
and when the night
has become my day.
I'll win the fight
about what to say
and what to tell them.
Time won't pay
and stitch up a hem
in a lifetime's work
we must all see the time,
and there's no jerk
from a rippling rhyme
that running so far
you can change the world
and stare at a star,
the plan's a little curled.
our arms around them tight
and we used to be so strong
and my day becomes the night
nothing felt wrong.
