but, at the same time
It's just another thing you should know

I would say sometimes since

I liked this poem, it was great! I love how your protagonist is loyal to the one they love even after all the pain and heartbreak the one they loved caused. I have felt this kind of pain before, but eventually I let go because I couldn't take the pain anymore. Anyway I loved your poem and your protagonist. One thing you could improve on is the length like Jen said, it is a little long. Don't get me wrong there are a lot of poems that are long, but this one, with a little improvement could prove to be stronger if it were shorter.

I don't know much about writing a song, but you have something here. I do know songs are poerty. I liked it. Without pain we would not understand joy, love or graditude for the people and events in our life. I hope you write more, this is very raw, honest. If you don't mind me saying, I'd shorten it a little. It is really good!
