No One Made God

No one made God give His Son Jesus Christ
to die such a gruesome and horrible death on the cross
to make our forgiveness of sin possible,
and yet, He was so willing
to give His equally willing Son.

No one made God give us free will
to choose between sin and righteousness
for living on this earth,
and yet, He gave it anyway.

No one made God give to us a single blessing
to enjoy in this world or the world to come,
and yet, He's given to us so very many.

No one made God, He's lived forever and ever,
and will live forever and ever more.
Throughout His eternal existence,
He has known everything,
Including past, present, and future
and the existence of good and evil.
Therefore, it can only be
that even if we cannot tell
His exact reasoning for every single thing,
He really does know best for us.

Let us engrave in our hearts and minds
that no one made God do anything,
and that it's only His eternal love and wisdom
that guide His every decision.
The ultimate proof of His love for us
is that He sacrificed His Son Jesus Christ
to make our forgiveness of sin possible,
but His choice to give us free will
proves that His love for us
is not a selfish love.
Therefore, let us love Him in return
By keeping His every blest command.
