                            Without You


It seems such a strange world without you here.
Things seem kind of hollow without you near.
I am trying to learn how to live now.
But it all just seems so hopeless somehow.

Though I still live and breathe, life seems a chore,
as I try to revive myself once more.
No matter where I go, you are not there,
so I see a world so empty and bare.

I try to find something that I could do,
That would just help me to live without you,
But I'm like a desert crying for rain,
and my very being seems all in vain.

The life that seemed so wonderful and dear,
now seems empty without you being here.
