Truly a Whitewashed Fence #1

Truly a Whitewashed Fence #1

A Poem by jerry atrixx
"

The comfort found in quaint memories

"
It is truly a whitewashed wonder fence
Old timber of indeterminate origin or importance
A weathered entrée for the termites
And a memorial to when we stood there
Together
I leaned precariously and
You pretended not to notice
How the rickety fence supported my imminent fall
Like a loyal friend
