UNCOMPROMISED LOVE.

UNCOMPROMISED LOVE.

A Poem by Jerrald Adjhei
"

my last goodbye.

"

I
The noise diminishes and it is left with you and me
Alone with our thoughts
We stare at each other
Fright takes both of us

II
Overwhelmed by the noise from the station,
We both turned.
What’s the link between the two of us?
I hope you are not my twin.

III
I want my thoughts to manifest in our lives.
I don’t know of yours.
Do you think the same way I do?
Do we have everything in common?
I want to know your thoughts.

IV
If they are not the same,
I’ll understand.
I wont push you away.
So don’t push me away.
I’ll still be your friend.
We will talk like never before.

V
I’ve come to the end of my lamentations.
I hope you understand me.
It is goodbye for now,
But we will still be in touch.
Pray for me and I’ll pray for you too.
