He waited for hours.
He tried so hard.
He didn't have the power.
And he couldn't get the cards to go his way.

He fell asleep every night.
After hours of pain.
He wanted a light.
But he only got rain.

He reached for help.
And he got some guidance.
But the help fell through.
And now he's saying good riddance.

Goodbye. Goodbye.
This world doesn't need him.
He knows that he doesn't belong.
He tried to find hope.
But now it's all gone.

He gave up on his hopes.
He made a new vow.
He'd never try to cope.
And all he's left with now..
Is the pain of a thousand scars.
Left all over his broken heart.

He tried finding comfort.
She proved he wasn't worthy.
He grew very weary.
The end was near but blurry.
But he finally said.
In too much of a hurry.

Goodbye. Goodbye.
The world doesn't need him.
He knows that he doesn't belong.
He tried to find hope.
But now it's all gone.

He wanted to be alone.
He knew no one would stay.
He lost all that was known.
And he closed him self away.

The day finally came.
When he finally got the strength.
To put it all away.
And finally got to say..

Goodbye.

The next thing that he knew.
He awoke in a white room.
Bright lights all around.

Weeping from the doorway.
He heard his family start to say.
"Is there anything you can do more..?"
"Please help my baby stay.."

He starts to tear up.
And realized what he threw away.
His eyes start getting heavy.
And feels himself slipping away.

He tried to fight it.
As long as he could.
But the end was too near now.

All that he could do.
