hush my Sweet

hush my Sweet

A Poem by Jeremy Wyatt

Hush My Sweet

Hush my sweet lie still under my cloak
your wounds are grave and deep
not destined to whiten and scar
but I will help you do not weep
lie like a child by your own dead brother
forget the blood and hurt and pain
then I will send you back to the Mother
one more cut with love you will be whole again
