Crow's Wisdom

Crow's Wisdom

A Poem by Jeremy Wyatt

The sun and moon rise together
The morning's herald crows and claps his wings
He would have you know
that goats climb cliffs of rock and promontories
Even when they are as wet as fresh dug graves
He would tell you that the meek and worn of heart
cannot abide long the north-winds
and blow like leaves before his wreak
