Broken Lenses

Broken Lenses

A Poem by Jeremiahh

If only the world could only take off this mask
these broken lenses over our eyes causing us to not see.
It's like a PG version of the real R rated movie;
with it's largest drawback being that we can't rewind or pause.
Our broken eyes blur our vision of what used to be crystal clear morals.
Able to be mended as easily as they were broken,
but we chose to look through with content at our unclear lives.
