Innocent

Innocent

A Poem by Jeremiahh

Eager hearts meet,

unknowing minds share;

nervous faces greet,

interested eyes stare.

Too young yet to know,

inexperienced still;

he can't let his love show,

or his heart, she will kill.

Much experience has she,

the past, it has been cruel.

So prepared she will be,

she knows how to play it cool.

Despite the obvious mess, the two attempt happiness,

and before they know it, the younger will leave with less.

Outstanding Sonnet...loved the flow...and honest from heart and soul. Keep up the great work. Write on.
