Late Night Touches

Late Night Touches

A Poem by Nathaniel Fahey
"

Loneliness is the scariest thought I can imagine...

"

I miss your touch. All of it. That's the hardest part. Getting used to being alone and the feeling of isolation. The loneliness kills me. You probably already knew that. I miss being able to hold you late at night. I miss you rolling over and wrapping your arm around me- sleepily mumbling "I love you" and feeling your smile cut through the air.

In that moment, I am happy
