You proved to meA Poem by Flapjackbleh
You proved it
you proved it to them to me and yourself your just what everyone though. No guessing or just by chance thinking No dwelling on past mistakes. You've gone and showed them Just how fake you could be You went and displayed for all of them the ones you swore you'd prove wrong That you could rise above against and conquer All past labels you wore I fought to not believe them I did a big mistake By not trusting my gut instinct I went and proved my trust was a mistake. It's hard to loose you Since we were so very close I kept you around for your ears And your listening heart. But now the times been passing And the distance just weaves between I now see I'll never Be proven wrong by you , you let them win And I'll be forced to let you leave me Just like you begged me not to do. So if you ever read this And see what I've finally said Remember your the one who told me You'd be the one to never leave. Those enraged lost friends of yours. Who I thought were always oh so bad. I realize now that on the other side. Your not so innocent of all this hate and blame You made them feel this way about you The way I blinded my self to think Would never happen or be the same. So I still remember to this day That night you begged me to never leave And now I wonder why in the end your the one who walked away If I share a bit with you of this star like fruit would you promise to never leave my side? Would you honestly ...Really stay? My knight my prince my October blue, My friend my diary Your princess has left her castle she can no longer wait. So into this ocean end it all , I didn't back up from this ledge. I can no longer sit and wait... For something that will never in the end.... Had no intention of sticking around... Your the one who sunk in the end.... © 2011 FlapjackAuthor's Note
