Moving Forward 

I keep moving forward

In attempt to feel something

But you have me cornered

Stopping me from everything

I said I'd stand by you

And whatever you would be

I never knew the worst you'd do

Would end up breaking me

I thought we'd be forever

With our hearts remaining unbroken

Instead it was for never

With a broken promise unspoken

Now you have blotted out

Everything we have been through

All the things I would ever doubt

One day all came true

One day you may look back

And regret we we've been though

But moving forward along this track

There is nothing I would redo

But our heart in the sand 

Was washed away by the sea

But it once would stand

As a symbol of you and me
