A workers plea...A Poem by Jennimy CricketAnyone else feel like this?? :DStop the world; Just for moment; Just to watch that second pass me by; Whilst I sit on the sidelines; confident in the knowledge that it wants nothing from me. No places to take me; no timings to strive for; Nothing; But, alas, time keeps on turning, Minutes keep on yearning To be seconds, leaning Forward so as to encroach on Futures line. Days will keep on seething, Calendars keep heaving Up tasks that keep on breathing Down our necks and down our spines. Tasks that keep us busy Both joyful or unwillingly Focusing our eyes to see No more than our path’s twine. Months will keep on flying, Even though I sit here trying To just Stop; Though I'd be lying To say I don’t enjoy the ride.
