The Actor's Lament

The Actor's Lament

A Poem by Jennimy Cricket
"

I'm not sure you'll get it... I don't mind if you dont... but dont judge the emotion... it's deeper than wrote....

"

A hole appeares,

As the last clap resounds;

Ripped away, stolen,

With the absence of sound

That though with little meaning,

And possibly undue,

Personifies days

I would die to go back to.

A fission rips through me

As, for the last time,

I rip away the persona

I see truly as mine;

More mine than my own is;

More lyrical at least,

More confident, More sure;

And now I'm just me.

This is beautiful darling, great sense of clinging to that which we have lost... Well done...
