War

War

A Poem by Jenny DelVecchio
"

one of my earlier poems, it was published int the Celebration of Poets, Summer addetion

"
The howl of the wolf
Signals the fight
Telling the vultures
Of a feast tonight

Calling the beasts
To unwillingly brawl
For the kingdoms clash
And in the end will fall

The bloody battle
Declines to cease
While the loved wait
And pray for peace

Bargaining for land
With the lives of men
Neither caring nor paying
For their horrid sin

Poem is amazing. Your description and story is outstanding. I agree with the view in the poem. Men in $1,000 suit use young men and woman for their profit. A outstanding poem.
