Snow Angels

Snow Angels

A Poem by Jenny Davis

Snow falls and it's just a white shadow-
of Angels hitting the ground.

They're born to lift spirits of the lost-
proving their existence here.

Their mark is clear, covering colors-
that once glimmered in spring.

For who would appreciate a life vivid-
without the eclipse of the trees.

Jenny.. snow seems to make things ' clean'.. a little fresher..
I like this poem very much for the calmness of it and peace.
Yes, who would appreciate a life vivid without the eclipse of tree?

I wish we would get snow this Christmas. but doubtful..

Calm and lovely!

I love the picture. I love how snow looks so pure and blankets us with its beauty, but I don't like driving in it. You have written this well and the softness of the poem added great feeling. I love the last line. Excellent piece. :)

while I hate driving in the stuff, I have to admit to a pure love of snow...love this picture...was much what my area looked like after the ice storm went through, followed by a few inches of snow. It does put a fresh face on the world; seeming to quiet all the noise. I love the idea that snow is the angels announcing their presence...what a great thought! excellent write...bringing a sense of peace.

I didn't realize until just now how a pallete with but one color could paint such a beautiful thought.

I love the photo, Jenny. It's breathtaking, as is your piece. I love the metaphor you've used. You paint such a vivid and beautiful picture in my mind.

The easy peaceful feeling to your words give it a profound feeling of truth and a calm peaceful realization to those who have been blessed by an angels touch. Great write.

Wow. Really liked this. Makes me feel chilled but in a pleasant way - rather more attractive than going outside in a few seconds and looking at the icy weather that I have to drive to work in.
Sometimes the snow reminds me of God's orgasm of angels from the skies and this poem sees them covering the ground. Wonderful wintery scene.
