Snow Angels

Snow Angels

A Poem by Jenny Davis

Snow falls and it's just a white shadow-
of Angels hitting the ground.

They're born to lift spirits of the lost-
proving their existence here.

Their mark is clear, covering colors-
that once glimmered in spring.

For who would appreciate a life vivid-
without the eclipse of the trees.

Jenny.. snow seems to make things ' clean'.. a little fresher..
I like this poem very much for the calmness of it and peace.
Yes, who would appreciate a life vivid without the eclipse of tree?

I wish we would get snow this Christmas. but doubtful..

Calm and lovely!

Jenny you have a knack for painting pictures with color and this is an excellent example of the freshness of your words, the pure, the angel, the white color of innocense.

Wow..
With the words and the picture this poem really comes to life. It was beautifully written. I especially like the comment about the tree. Trees are our clock, the way we judge where we are at in the seasons. That line just has a lot of symbolism. Pristine. That is the word that comes to mind when I read this. Great write. Rain..

Always the master of color...
Even white is exciting when placed in your hands. You chose wonderful words to paint this picture.

So beautiful...

Brings to mind the old line, "as pure as the driven snow." Angels in the snow....brings back memories of New Jersey to me. You have created a lovely and nostalgic scene here. Lydia

a glittering piece with clarity and crispness like a fresh snow ... saying only enough to capture my wonder and yet captivating me with a starkness at the ending stanza to further my mental view of snow and trees and Angels anew ... this piece glitters many Suns and makes me stare at the forevers like a child and an Ancient one ... a captivating write, Jenny
