Fruitful

 

A tangerine moon
spills its nectar,
eyes savor the sight.

 

Blackberries crowd skies,
affording tiny spaces,
stars pose in delight.

 

Cherry winds tease
orange blossom leaves,
swaying in a sweet trance.

 

And a grapefruit sun
takes its place in blue,
where bitter rays freely dance.

I like this one a lot. The imagery with the fruit describing the colors is an exercise in mother nature's art. Very descriptive and excellent choice of subject.
