Same wavelength my friend... I just posted my little "hello" note at the top of my screen and came to see if you had anything new... and behold!
You always say so much and I am moved and inspired by this. We cannot spread what we do not know and we cannot know what we have not been told.
We struggle in the Bear household so much with the balance between the meaning and the commercialism this time of year... it's hard to strike that balance. But we remember when we lay down to die, there are three boy cubs who will be there to carry on the tradition, or forsake it.
So we give while we live... and hope the seed planted outlives the sower.
paying it forward in random acts of kindness, the giver and the receiver both gratefulwhether in flesh or in mind, negativity in cruelty, or positive in the mind. Shelly
What a wonderful piece! You have a way with words, and I really like your subject matter. That is really something that the world could use - more random acts of kindness.
Info.com defines random as, Having no particular pattern, purpose, organization, or structure. It would seem what you espouse is directed acts of kindness.
I love your thinking and i certainly agree.. this is a little poignant to me .. and so sensible..random acts of kindness.. they are some of the best.. being kind is so much easier than being unkind and pays off in the end .. as the Beatles sing ..' and in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.. ' !
Love in giving and doing and caring .. loving.
Amen to everything you say here! You shouldn't need a date on a calendar or a holiday to be reminded to be kind to others or thankful for everything we have. We all of us blessed everyday in some way and sometimes its easy to overlook, but just the same we should try to notice those blessings and try to pass that on to others.
