Roused
A Poem by Jenny Davis
Roused
Floating down
past rocks of old
Floating up
towards trees of angels
No expectations
anticipations
salvations
Saluting high
the golden pecks of sun
Saluting low
the dark sighs of moon
Not weary
leery
dreary
Spinning wildly
over mountains of dull
Spinning deliberately
under horizons of repose
Never confined
defined
unkind
Seeing more
than stars of stagnant
Seeing you
like gales of August

What beauty in words..
This poem is so peaceful to me .. it makes me think peaceful thoughts.
No expectations
anticipations
salvations
Kind of like life.. you just go with the flow and do the best you can and be the best you can..
Now, i may have taken your poem in another direction than you.. i just get this feeling reading it. It seems to be about love and peace and defining beyond.. if this is beyond it is beautiful.
The last line.. 'Seeing you... like gales of August.'
What a beautiful line.
