I smile because I am naive.
I love because He loved.
I laugh because I can't help it.
And I rejoice because I am able.

Life gave me error after error
but He gave me trial after trial.
Chance after chance.
I can push on --
with a hope that can triumph

I will move on from ugly
to something more.
Beautiful is only the beginning.
Why worry when you are lost?
He will show you the way.
Why try guilty when accused?
He will plead mercy.

Hope. Hope is all I need.
Yet you give me more.
I can depend and Love
to my heart's content.
All I can give you, is my life,
yet that itself, is still not enough.
