That Almighty Dollar

That Almighty Dollar

A Poem by Pure Hope
"

Inspired by the cliche "Made of Money"

"
There's a tree out back growing big,
Downstairs I have a machine rigged:
A special line to a Swiss bank-
My intuition I must thank.

Knew just when to play the stocks,
With bear and bull I beat the clock.
Bought real estate and rolled it fast
Silver and gold have I amassed

Now every day someone will call
Times they helped me they recall.
Hinting for "reward" I find funny
The norm now that I'm made of money.
