FLIP SIDE (Double Etheree)

FLIP SIDE (Double Etheree)

A Poem by Pure Hope
"

Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle. ~plato~

Red
Flowers
Hope in hand
Cold and hungry
Bus is late again
Weary from long work day
Can almost picture dinner
With the only one who tries to
understand and cheer on her winner
Although they scrape up each and every dime

Probably a useless old drunk resting
Waiting for someone to beg change from
Maybe selling half dead flowers
Costing three dollars at least
Can't we put them somewhere?

Let the city shine
Determined stars
Not the poor
Need knock

Locked
