A Pond

A Pond

A Poem by Pure Hope
"

From the contest prompt of- In 25-50 words what do you see when you look at Monet's Nymphets- Water Lilies Series 1905

"

Cornflower blue waters
draw for aquatic family:
Emerald green lily pads
ride to nymphs' song.

Pearl blooms radiate
hints of sunshine yellow smiles.

Magnetic reflections mirror mystique,

Calming fractured souls,
framing fresh flora

fantasies.

As a craft follower, this poem reached out into my heart and vision. I absolutely adore the descriptions you used. It was short but so very sweet. I believe I could smell mother nature in the city, at my computer. I can hear the streams of water trickling over rocks. Great write. Can't wait to invest in more of your pieces.

I took the time to look up Monet's Water Lilies Series to see your perspective. Well done.

I love Monet. He has to be one of my favorite painters. Thank you for the compliment.
