Chapter One

Chapter One

A Chapter by Jennie F Mienert

I got sloppy. Forgot to delete my outgoing e-mails and to empty my trash can. Might he have seen them? He asked who I was texting before and I forgot my phone in the car yesterday. Could he have opened it to see what pages I've been on? Maybe, he did bring it inside. I have to change my password. Why did I use the same password for the computer as for my e-mail? Such a beginners misstake. But I'm no beginner, I'm a pro. A sloppy pro. Take mental note: sharpen up or get out.

If you are going to have an affair be excellent at it, for everyones sake to avoid causing any unnecessary and damaging hurt.

Rule nr 1: Leave no evidence behind.

No emails, outgoing or ingoing, and, remember to delete the trash can! This goes for any kind of correspondance. Don´t save anything. Delete phone number or place it under a contact that would never be suspected. If you keep a second phone make sure you have a reason for why, "oh it´s a colleagues´, she forgot it at lunch. I´ll return it to her in the morning ". Never have two official of your own without a darn good reason. Too risky.

Rule nr 2: Consider what kind of evidence you are providing your lover with. Evidence that quickly can be used against you.

Rule nr 3: Make sure to gather ammunition in case you are attacked, and, if possible make sure you have less to loose than your lover.

Rule nr 4: don´t gamble with love you can´t afford to loose.

Rule nr 5: Assume your opponent, i.e. your lover, is a pro. See rule nr 2.
