Reasonless LoveA Poem by Jenney ClarkIt is good to have your heart broken. So you can find your soul mate and let true love mend it.Love be as though reasonless Stitched by emotions so seamless Superfluous in life’s ambiguous levity Credible in predictability as Gaia’s gravity Together as one in combined soul unity
Love lends me the wings to freefall And in a dare I compel that call For I know he will catch me in reflex His love an endless vortex so very complex
When the devil casts a stone or a snare Brave love rushes in to save maiden fair When I hurt inside my head and heart so bad Love joins me to wipe my tears and feel my sad
Just as the naughty girl in me gets loud Love joins me in some wild make out His kisses make my toes curl and heart skip For my lover knows just what makes me tick
The labels of the world, nay i don’t need A ring on the finger …psst, please! Not for me For he worships me with his body And marries me with his heart There now, what more could a girl ask for?
