Infinite possibilities

I am struck at times by life's turns and changes.

Footfalls on the path
Reverberating through the earth
Sounds echoing through
The ever changing landscape

Pebbles crunching
Soft motion of smooth pavement
Muffled thump of pine needles
Softly splashing puddles
Uneven gait as
Boulders slow the pace.

The path ahead
Obscured and unseen
By corners and bends

Futures unknown
Developing, forming
With each step forward
Or back

There is not but one path
On this journey...

But one that is created
In time and space
Shaped with experience
And decisions

Obstacles teaching
Lessons we chose
Long before we set out
Destiny not predetermined

Infinite possibilities
Constantly unfolding
With every step.

You talk 'bout how the life may change things with time & how opportunities go faded away into the wisps of "infinite possibilities"... nice poetry. Life's, needless to say, is drooled with obstacles which have you all swung away with its dusts, but once you conquered it, your destination seemed to be claimed: "The Destiny is not predetermined" ... well, very thoughtful poetry it is, if it's read in some kinda inspirational way. You express many things of life's struggles in few simplistic words. Would be looking forward to reading you!

I see .. sometimes, the life teaches us allot ev'n leads us all to the right track of our destination. I do meticulously agress with you that despite overcoming the very obstacles of damn life, we ain't come to know what exactly the s***s're 'bout and where they lead us to .. and for what? So, it's better to just walk the roads, all torments, all pleasure with winds & just understand the analogies of worthy life, which itself drooled with.. "infinite possibilities". Nice. I kinda love how attentive you are & how poetically you got inspired by your own life-hubs. Keep it up!

i love this....it is like a companion poem to Frost's "the road not taken"
although i like this better than his...

we could just be hiking through a pass here, blocked by a boulder...but we could also be talking about different obstacles along the path of life.
